Hunter Biden was ‘very intentional’ in dunking Democratic Party: Salena Zito – Washington Examiner

the article discusses Hunter Biden’s recent podcast interview, which Washington Examiner’s salena Zito describes as a deliberate and strategic move to criticize prominent Democrats who have opposed the Biden family. In the interview, Hunter biden openly criticized figures such as Nancy Pelosi, David axelrod, and James Carville, using strong language to emphasize his points. Zito suggests that this “take no prisoners” approach reflects the same combative style her long-time political coverage shows was characteristic of former President Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden also claimed that his father was on Ambien during the June 2024 presidential debate, a detail Zito finds questionable and part of a rehearsed attempt to protect Joe Biden’s legacy. Zito argues that the Biden family appears unconcerned about alienating future allies and is more focused on feeling vindicated, despite the damage this might cause to their political party. she contends that rather than strengthening the Democratic Party’s future, their actions risk weakening it. The interview coincides with the one-year anniversary of Joe Biden’s decision not to seek reelection, a period during which the former president recently gave an interview defending his management amid ongoing investigations.

Hunter Biden was ‘very intentional’ in dunking Democratic Party: Salena Zito

Washington Examiner’s Salena Zito said Tuesday that Hunter Biden‘s new interview was an “intentional” move to target people who have “wronged” the Biden family.

Former President Joe Biden‘s son made a lengthy appearance on a podcast Monday, during which he slammed notable Democrats such as Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), David Axelrod, and James Carville. Zito speculated that Hunter Biden’s interview was an attempt to “take no prisoners” in the wake of his father’s presidency, and tried to make it seem authentic by “dropping the F-bomb over 112 times.”

“It’s that sort of Biden against the world thing. His father is someone that I’ve covered for 30 years. This is exactly the way his dad would have handled it. So I think that this was very intentional,” Zito said on Fox News’s Fox & Friends.

During his interview, Hunter Biden said his father was on Ambien during the June 2024 presidential debate, something Zito found hard to believe would be “prescribed to a president.” She added that this was part of a “rehearsed event to try to save the Biden legacy.”

Zito also said she doesn’t think the Biden family cares if it has any allies in the future, saying the family is “entitled” to feel “vindicated.” However, she said the family is unaware of the “damage” they are doing to their family and political party.

HUNTER BIDEN’S CHAOTIC REVENGE TOUR

“And most presidents want a legacy to be that they’ve made their party better, stronger, bigger. Well, what they’re doing is shrinking it even more,” Zito said.

Hunter Biden’s interview was released exactly one year after his father dropped his reelection bid. The former president recently returned to the spotlight for an interview with the New York Times, pushing back against investigations on his administration’s use of the presidential autopen.
