Hillary Clinton says ‘we have no links’ to Epstein
Hillary Clinton has pushed back against renewed scrutiny tying her and her husband to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell. In a BBC interview, she insisted the Clintons have “no links” to Epstein or Maxwell and argued that being mentioned in government files does not imply wrongdoing. She noted that Bill Clinton’s travel on epstein’s jet was for charity work and said she has met Maxwell only a few times, pointing out that thousands of public figures appear in similar records. The article also notes that a Department of Justice release of Epstein-related materials has not produced evidence of illegal conduct by the Clintons. Clinton urged focusing on Epstein and Maxwell’s crimes and said she and Bill are willing to discuss what they know, describing it as very limited and unrelated to their alleged actions. Both Clintons are scheduled to testify before Congress as part of the House Oversight inquiry, with Hillary set for February 26 and Bill for February 27, after previously declining to appear earlier this year.
