Hillary Clinton Accuses White Christian Men of ‘Doing Such Damage’ to the United States

The article discusses controversial comments made by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton following the assassination of conservative figure Charlie Kirk. On MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Clinton criticized what she described as an effort by white Christian men to turn back the clock to a past dominated by their ideology, religion, and worldview-implying this causes harm to the country.Although Clinton avoided explicitly saying “Christian,” her remarks were widely interpreted as targeting white Christian men.

The piece portrays her argument as a strawman often used by Democrats to deflect criticism of secularism by accusing conservatives of wanting to restore an outdated social order. Despite calling for unity and an end to demonization, Clinton concurrently blamed much of the current division on the political right, further fueling polarization.

Critics on social media labeled Clinton’s comments as bigoted, suggesting her rhetoric reinforces hostility toward white Christian men, who are depicted as targets of the political left. The article also references previous statements by Clinton advocating drastic measures against Trump supporters, underscoring a long-standing antagonism.Ultimately, the article argues that Clinton’s statements clarify the deep ideological and cultural conflicts in American politics today.

When the demon inside former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton speaks, at least it provides clarity.

Indeed, in the wake of conservative Christian icon Charlie Kirk’s assassination in Utah two weeks ago today, unhinged Democrats like Clinton have made no secret of the fact that they regard Christianity and those who profess it as their mortal enemies.

Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” with co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, Clinton first laid out a classic strawman argument before declaring that white Christian men are “doing such damage” to the United States.

Of course, the former secretary of State lacks the courage to say the word “Christian” directly. But no one who listened to her repulsive comments could mistake her meaning.

“The idea that you could turn the clock back and try to recreate a world that never was,” Clinton said in a clip posted to the social media platform X, “dominated by — you know, let’s say it, white men, uh — of a certain persuasion, uh — certain religion, uh — certain point of view, certain ideology, is just doing such damage to what we should be aiming for.”

Talk about the ultimate strawman.

First of all, no one wants to “turn the clock back” and “recreate” a bygone world. Democrats use that as a rhetorical device to stave off meaningful criticism of modern secularism.

For instance, when conservatives offer the Christian truths at the core of America’s Founding principles as an antidote to secular nihilism and authoritarianism, liberals respond by accusing us of wanting to restore a centuries-old patriarchy or racial caste system. It is as predictable as it is dishonest.

Incredibly, Clinton made those comments during the same interview in which she insisted that we all must get along.

“We have got to stop demonizing each other,” she said in another X clip.

Then, she showed why that cannot happen anytime soon.

“Now,” the repellent failed presidential candidate continued, “I think most of that, right now in our country’s history, is coming from the right.”

In response to Clinton’s slander of white Christian men, one X user put it very succinctly: “What a bigot.”

The problem, of course, runs much deeper than ordinary bigotry. Prominent conservative commentator Jack Posobiec, a friend of Kirk, explained.

“And there it is,” Posobiec wrote. “Hillary reminds the violent left the target is white Christian men. Just like Charlie Kirk.”

Alas, that kind of rhetoric comes naturally to Clinton.

For instance, in October 2023 she suggested “formal deprogramming” of those who support President Donald Trump.

In other words, we have known for a long time what the former first lady thinks of us. Now, after Kirk’s murder, she has made obvious the left’s ultimate target.

Thus, rather than demonizing her, we may thank the literal demon inside her for making the spiritual battle lines crystal clear.
