The View’s Whoopi Goldberg informed the audience of the news, prompting cheers and a wave. Co-host Ana Navarro even led the audience in a chant of “Na-na-na-na, na-na na-na. Hey, hey, hey, goodbye.” While Sunny Hostin acknowledged that celebrating someone’s career demise isn’t ideal, she also pointed out that Carlson was responsible for the degradation of democracy in the country. Meanwhile, Joy Behar had previously dismissed Carlson as “almost irrelevant,” despite his show averaging over three million viewers per night.
