Here’s Where Every GOP Senator Stands On The Risky Covid Shots

The Republican Senators in the US Senate have yet to confront pressing issues relating to the Covid-19 vaccine risks. The overwhelming silence from most Republican Senators is shameful, given mounting medical data showing that the Covid-19 shots are not as “safe” and “effective” as claimed by vaccine makers. Recent findings from Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, for example, revealed an 84% increase in the number of cardiac-related deaths among males aged 18-39 years old within 28 days following the mRNA vaccination.

In recent months, Ladapo has twice issued guidance on the shots, advising against giving them to 18-39-year-old males and to children under 18 due to multiple reasons, including the risk of myocarditis. These concerns are also shared by other countries, including Germany, France, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Norway, which have all recommended against the distribution of the Moderna Covid-19 shots to individuals under 30 years old because of the documented risk of heart inflammation, among others.

Despite these widespread concerns, most Senate Republicans have been indifferent. To address this, The Federalist reached out to every U.S. Senate Republican to seek their views on the documented risks associated with the Covid-19 shots, but the vast majority did not respond. Below are some of the views expressed by a few of the Republican Senators:

Ron Johnson of Wisconsin

Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson has been the most active Senate Republican voicing concern about Covid vaccine risks. Over the past few years, Senator Johnson has held multiple roundtable events with medical professionals and individuals who have suffered adverse side effects following Covid vaccinations. His concern for vaccine injuries is evident in his statement to The Federalist: “I will continue to pursue, uncover, and expose the truth by consulting with eminently qualified doctors and medical researchers who have also been raising the alarm over vaccine injuries and the harms done.”

Rand Paul of Kentucky

Senator Rand Paul has also spoken about the potential dangers of mRNA injections, particularly the increased risk of myocarditis in young men who have received the shots. Senator Paul also highlighted that children are the age group least at risk of Covid-19 and expressed concern about pharmaceutical companies that “are not being honest because obviously they’re self-interested and they love the mandates.”

Eric Schmitt of Missouri

Schmitt spokesman William O’Grady highlighted the Senator’s record on fighting Covid mandates, but did not comment on his concern over the documented risks of the Covid-19 vaccine.
