Hannity criticizes GOP’s extreme stance on abortion, validating America’s frustration with the Uniparty.

Democrats ⁣Laughed, but the Tide Is Turning

When conservatives expressed concerns⁢ about the “slippery slope,” Democrats laughed.⁢ They dismissed our fears, claiming that ⁤if we didn’t⁢ embrace their utopian vision of a genderless, polyamorous society focused on⁤ self-gratification, we would never win another election. They⁤ also reminded us that abortion was the law.

But then, something unexpected‍ happened. The‌ nation ⁣elected ‌Donald Trump.

In ‍just four years,‍ Trump ⁢laid the groundwork for overturning Roe v. Wade, ⁢a feat that⁤ seemed impossible after nearly five decades. It⁢ was a monumental achievement⁢ that⁢ defied all expectations.

That’s ⁤why it was so disheartening to see Fox ‍News host ‍Sean ⁤Hannity, a self-proclaimed⁢ practicing Catholic, back away from the Christian belief that life begins at ⁣conception. In a recent discussion ⁤on his show, Hannity expressed concern that abortion ‌bans before 15 weeks of pregnancy might alienate suburban voters.

Hannity’s remarks were disappointing, to say ‌the least. As a practicing Catholic, he should understand that the sanctity of life⁣ is a core Biblical‍ principle. It’s ‌not something we can compromise on for the sake of political expediency.

Hannity’s concerns were sparked by⁢ a recent vote in Ohio, where conservatives hoped to raise the threshold for amending the state’s constitution to protect unborn lives. While Hannity‌ worried about ⁢losing suburban voters, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee disagreed, emphasizing the importance of protecting life.

It’s disheartening to see Hannity resort to the tired argument of “rare,‌ safe, ⁢and legal” that Democrats have used for years to justify their extreme stance on abortion. The Democratic Party has moved far beyond Clinton’s “foot-in-the-door” phrase, advocating⁣ for abortion even after birth. Quoting Clinton now only reminds us of‌ our past naivety in believing his words.

WARNING: The following video contains vulgar language‌ that some viewers may find offensive.

Hannity’s focus on ‌political ⁣strategy and voter appeal is disconnected from the moral imperative of protecting‌ life. Republicans, especially Christians, should not compromise their principles for⁣ the sake of votes.

Unfortunately, this trend of avoiding moral stands is not limited to politics. Many‌ churches have also‍ shied away from taking a‍ clear ⁣stance, citing IRS tax regulations and a desire to retain membership. This has blurred the moral distinctions ⁣between political parties, leading some to refer to them as the “uniparty.”

Huckabee rightly⁤ emphasizes that education, not surrender, is the solution. Many people have been misled to believe that ‌a child in the ⁢womb ⁤is just a mass of cells, but when they are presented with the truth through ultrasounds and accurate information, their perspective ⁢often changes.

Former Hollywood ⁢actress Leigh-Allyn Baker, known for her role⁤ in the ‍Disney TV‌ series “Good Luck Charlie,” experienced a pro-life conversion when she learned about the reality of abortion. She realized that it‍ was not just a decision about women’s rights,⁤ but about the life⁢ and pain⁤ of⁢ the ⁢unborn ⁣child.

Lenin once said, “A lie told often‌ enough ⁣becomes the ‌truth.” But for those who value absolute ⁣truth, a lie remains a lie, no matter how many times it is repeated.

Hannity’s suggestion‍ to continue down the slippery slope we’ve been‌ on for 50⁣ years is misguided. The overturning ‌of Roe v. Wade gave us an opportunity‌ to ⁢halt the slide and protect innocent lives. As Huckabee wisely advises, it’s time to‌ stop playing defense and clearly ⁤articulate what we stand for.
