Gov. Ron DeSantis Invened ‘The Bible Of The Revolution’

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis Tuesday was his second term as Sunshine State’s 46th Governor. He used the Bible of the Revolution, which the Founding Fathers of the U.S. Congress endorsed nearly 240 years earlier, to swear in.

DeSantis, his wife Casey and their three children took the oath on the steps at the Tallahassee state Capitol building with their three children. He also held the Aitken Bible, which he had purchased in 1782, as his hand.

The Bible is a product of the American Journey ExperienceGlenn Beck, nationally syndicated radio host and cofounder of Blaze Media founded. The museum was also a research library and state-of the-art museum that preserves the United States’ history.

Beck told his media company he offered that DeSantis use the historic Bible and Mary Todd Lincoln’s Bible at his oath of office ceremony in Florida, saying the governor’s work in the state “has real historic significance.”

“It is the beginning of a renewal of the principles for which our Founders fought,” Beck said.

DeSantis, 44, a former congressman and U.S. Navy veteran of the war in Iraq, became one of the nation’s most high-profile governors in his first term, which secured his 2022 victory over challenger Charlie Crist with nearly 60% of the vote. DeSantis spoke out about his achievements during his first term which saw Florida become the fastest-growing state in the country in 2022, for the first time since 1957.

The Blaze reported that DeSantis, Lieutenant Gov. Jeanette Nuñez swore their oath on Tuesday “serves as a reminder of where we came from.”

It was over 240 years ago that the Founding Fathers of America in Congress in 1782 supported the King James translation of Aitken Bible which Robert Aitken published following the victory of the War of Independence. This is the only edition that was ever ordered.

Beck stated that “one of the rights new Americans fought for was the freedom of religion”The British government regulates publishing Bibles. Previously, English-language Bibles were not allowed to be printed without permission from authorities.

“The Founders understood where our rights came from,” Beck stated that the Bible is the best book, and that it was a good source of inspiration. “a reflection of that understanding.”

Beck observed that many of the issues facing the nation today are a result of a “loss of truth,” He added that it has been done before.

“And until we return to the eternal truths, which Rudyard Kipling called the ‘Gods of the Copybook Headings,’ we will continue to — as a nation and as individuals — struggle,” Beck stated. “The Bible played an essential role in our Founding, and if we are to remain a nation of individual rights, it must play the same role in our Re-Founding.”

DeSantis cited from the book Psalms as his inaugural speech after noticing how many countries in the union had stripped individual liberties.

“We face attacks, we take hits, but we weather the storms,” DeSantis said. “We stand our ground, and we do what’s right. As the book of Psalms reminds us, ‘I will not fear, though, tens of thousands assail me on every side.’”

Beck, a Conservative commentator, said that revolutions cannot succeed and can lead to greater peace and harmony without God and the truths of the Bible.

“It teaches us to fight for those things that are truth with love, not against with hatred,” He stated.
