GOP to Use ‘Power of the Purse’ Against FBI: Rep. Jim Jordan

House Republicans will use its spending power to restrict funding to the FBI, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), head of the lower chamber’s Judiciary Committee and its weaponization subcommittee, said on Sunday.

Jordan also spoke out about other allegations in Sunday’s interview, including the FBI’s role in political censorship via social media and the lack of transparency by intelligence regarding COVID-19 origins. He also mentioned the alleged targeting parents who protest at Catholic schools and traditional Catholics. Jordan also discussed the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop scam, which Jordan described as election interference.

The Judiciary Committee has responded to the allegations by gathering information and laying the foundations before approaching the mandatory subpoena process that will target the FBI. He said the Legislative could also prohibit federal funding being used for some purposes by the FBI.

FBI Whistleblowers

Jordan stated that the FBI whistleblowers have been interviewed by Jordan and two dozen other people who prefer anonymity.
