Gen. Keith Kellogg and Jan Jekielek Discuss US Military Readiness and China’s Threat at CPAC 2023
Jan Jekielek (senior editor at The Epoch Times) and General Keith Kellogg (co-chairman at The Center for American Security at America First Policy Institute), spoke at The Conservative Political Action Committee’s 2023 conference, Washington D.C., on military issues.
Jekielek expressed concern about the readiness of the military for the current challenges. He cited the conflicts with Russia’s and China’s governments as possible issues.
Kellogg stated, however that one shouldn’t count out the American military or place a bet on it. Kellogg noted this despite the fact that he was aware that there might be some military advantages. “issues,” This includes the possibility of it being detrimentally progressive.
He stressed that it is the job of the military to defeat and deter enemy forces, but he isn’t sure that’s the current focus.
Kellogg was in Russia to speak with the members of committees that cover the topic. According to Kellogg, the United States must protect its borders first before other countries. He also stated that Ukraine is a significant issue.
He pointed out that America could have lost touch with its issues in China, the Middle East and Russia.
