Frasier star Kelsey Grammer and Jesus Revolution quadruple box office expectations

Jesus Revolution CAt the box office In its second weekend on the big screen it quadrupled original earnings expectations.

The film — which features Frasier star Kelsey Grammer in the role of Southern California pastor Chuck Smith, who invites hippies into his church, beginning the real-life Christian movement in the late 1960s and early 1970s — has grossed $30.5 million domestically.

“For a movie projected to make only $7 million on its debut weekend, Lionsgate and Kingdom Story Company’s Jesus Revolution continues to outperform expectations,” entertainment review site Collider noted.

Its opening weekend was a success. Jesus Revolution shocked the box office By taking the No. 3 and earning $15.5 million.

Because of its success, Kingdom Story Company has announced the addition of 100 theaters in the film’s screening schedule. It brings the total to 2,575.

“The audience reaction has blown us all away, and we’re thrilled to be bringing JESUS REVOLUTION to more cities!” Kingdom Story Company posted.

Moviegoers have defied film critics’ reviews Cinemalogue calling out the storyline of this newly released film “narrow” Rotten Tomatoes gives it a score 54% even though the audience scored 99%.

CinemaScore was also mentioned Jesus Revolution After seeing the film, I received an A+ from moviegoers. Maverick is the Top Gun And The Queen of Women These were the two only films that received such a score for 2022.
