Fox Business awards small businesses in contest for America 250
Fox Business highlighted small businesses nationwide as part of America’s 250th anniversary, spotlighting their effects on customers and communities. In March, the network launched its “Made in America” contest, offering a grand prize of $25,000, and used public voting after selecting 10 finalists.
During Small Business Week in May,Fox Business announced three winners who would be featured on Fox Nation’s “Small Business Special” airing June 8: Four branches Bourbon (Kentucky),Marilyn’s (Ohio),and TGU Home Solutions (North Carolina). The other seven finalists included businesses in Illinois, California, Texas, Kansas, Tennessee, and Florida.
A judging panel-Maria Bartiromo, Charles Payne, Brian Brenberg, Larry Kudlow, and Dagen McDowell-reviewed written or video submissions and selected winners based on leadership and team culture, innovation and creativity, customer experience and loyalty, and community impact-each weighted equally at 25%. The contest was sponsored by Comcast Business and JPMorgan Chase.
Fox Business is shining the spotlight on small businesses across the nation and the impact they have made on their customers and communities in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

In May, during Small Business Week, Fox Business’s The Big Money Show announced three out of 10 finalists as the winners to be featured on Fox Nation’s Small Business Special, which will air on June 8.
The three contest winners were:
- Four Branches Bourbon in Bardstown, Kentucky
- Marilyn’s in Lakeside, Ohio
- TGU Home Solutions in Aberdeen, North Carolina.
The other seven finalists were:
- Judy’s Family Cafe in Galesburg, Illinois;
- Nathan Anthony Furniture in Vernon, California;
- Pedal Guerrero, Incorporated, in San Antonio, Texas;
- Pete Place, LLC, in Dighton, Kansas;
- Steele Saddle Tree LLC, in Ashland City, Tennessee;
- Harris Grocery, Inc., in Bunnell, Florida; and
- Coastal Business Solutions, LLC, in Corpus Christi, Texas.

The judges reviewed either written or video submissions from each finalist and selected the winners based on the following categories: leadership and team culture (25%), innovation and creativity (25%), customer experience and loyalty (25%), and community impact (25%).
