Any attempt to detain Russian President Vladimir Putin would be seen as a” declaration of war ,” according to Dmitry Medvedev, the former chairman of Russia.

The present head of the nuclear state went to a territory, say Germany, and was arrested, Medvedev said.” Let’s imagine- probably this situation which will never be realized, but always lets imagine that it was realized.”

What exactly would that be? In a video posted to Telegram, he claimed that doing so would be like declaring army on the Russian Federation. And in that scenario, all of our resources, including our missiles and other weapons, would travel to the Bundestag and the Chancellor’s work.

Medvedev suggested on Thursday that Russia might launch a hypersonic missile at the International Criminal Court’s ( ICC ) headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands.

A week after the ICC issued Putin an arrest warrant for his alleged war crimes, the remarks were made. Putin was charged by the ICC with personally causing kidnappings of adolescents in Ukraine.

According to a statement from the ICC, “( Putin is) allegedly accountable for the war crimes of unlawful deportation of( children ) and unlawful transfer of[ children ] from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation.”

According to President Joe Biden, he thinks the arrest warrant was” justified.” He asserted on Friday that Putin” evidently committed war crimes.” This had to do with the continuing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
