Former Olympic legend boycotts Nike after sports bra ad with transgender influencer

Former Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies slammed Nike’s partnership with Dylan Mulvaney, a biological male who identifies as a transgender female.

Nike and Mulvaney unveiled a paid collaboration on Thursday that featured the transgender TikTok style promoting an athletic underwear.

Davies referred to Nike’s cause as” therefore frustrating” after representing Great Britain in the 400-meter individual mix at the 1980 Moscow Olympics.

According to Davies,” We take two steps forward by protecting women’s sports’s with World Athletics and Swim England.” It seems to mock what ladies are, in my opinion.

She continued,” In the past, it was always viewed as an insult when people said ,”” Run like a girl.” And here we have somebody acting in a very unsportslike and unathletic manner.

The Olympic swimmer declared that in order to protest the” hatred that ladies are being treated with ,” men had now engage in protest.

Davies observed that it is what is currently available to us because it appears that no one is paying attention to the general public. Therefore, boycotting with our money is the only way we can actually persuade these businesses and get governments to hear.

Caitlyn Jenner has also criticized Nike for its partnership with sports bras, saying it is” a pity to see such an iconic American enterprise go hence awakened.”

Following a unique partnership between the ale company and Mulvaney, musicians Kid Rock and Travis Tritt have already announced that they will discontinue all Anheuser-Busch products.

Tritt tweeted,” I know a lot of many performers who are doing the same. ” Some artists who are removing Anheuser-Busch items from their kindness horse might not say so in court for fear of ridicule and cancellation.” I’m not’m afraid of that.

Additionally, Kid Rock shared a video of himself cursing and shooting Bud Light liquor incidents in defiance of the business’s alliance’s with Mulvaney.
