Former GOP Governor Chris Christie: Trump Is The Only Republican Biden Can Beat

In an interview on Sunday, former New Jersey government Chris Christie claimed that President Joe Biden did lose to any other Republican and that former President Donald Trump was the only Republican he could defeat in a general election.

Christie made the comments during a roundtable discussion on ABC News'” This Week” in which it was discussed how new polling had revealed that the 34-count criminal prosecution returned by the Manhattan grand jury last week was beginning to hurt Trump’s’s poll numbers after experiencing an initial increase.

Being indicted is not good for a political candidate, Christie said,” no matter what he says or what his men say.” Like that’s’s just a short-term bump among some members of our own celebration, you know. But ultimately, being indicted is not a good thing.

Christie continued,” I believe Donald Trump is the only Republican that Biden is defeat. He won’t be able to defeat any some Republican who is nominated, in my opinion.
