Former Google Employee Goes Viral With ‘Day In The Life’ Video Series Ending In Layoff News
A former Google Posting employee TikTok videos of her experience working in the company’s amenities-packed offices went viral when she announced she was affected by the company’s recent layoffs.
Nicole Tsai worked in partner services for Google’s cloud unit since 2021 and posted a vlog of her experiences, per Fortune. Her videos depicted some of the perks available at the company’s California outpost, including free food, over-the-top themed meeting rooms, massage chairs, and much more.
In a Tsai video posted On December 30, she displayed the enormous office space. She claimed it was an aircraft hangar once owned by Howard Hughes. She also led her followers through multiple art installations within the building, before stopping by the coffee shop on the site. This was a former employee of Google.
Tsai showed off her sparkly sparkles as well “confetti room,” She described the decor as “stylish” and where she went to meet with her colleagues. “so sparkly and beautiful.” In other parts of her day the TikTok user grabs a free lunch and then goes to “listen to ghosts” At another location, paranormal activity was documented in the building.

During a January 11 post, Tsai took followers into a meeting room that’s in a so-called “zero-gravity” room decorated with office supplies including a computer and liquid coffee that all look like they’re floating.
The ex-Google employee retired on January 20 shared Some things that you might find in your office “just make sense,” You will find a giant sliding board, sushi chefs serving lunch, a snack bar, a tiki shop, scooters for getting to meeting rooms, stationary bicycles that charge your phone and bikes for exploring the campus.
Tsai then shared her experience of being laid off by Google two days earlier. She recounted how she was laid off from Google. “ominous” She received a text message from her boss the next morning. She said her manager told her to check the news and her email, referring to the company’s recent layoff of 12,000 employees. Her video reaction to the news has been viewed 4.3 million times.
Tsai checked her work accounts and discovered she had lost her job when she couldn’t access her email or any other platforms. She spoke about her former employer. “sobbed” After hearing the news, I started to communicate with other employees in order to find out who was being fired.
