Fmr. President Trump aide: China has a dossier worth of data on every American adult

A former national security adviser to President Trump has warned China acquired enough data to “build a dossier on every single American adult.” Matthew Pottinger raised concerns over the communist nation this week during a Senate Select Intelligence Committee hearing.
Pottinger went on to explain China had a massive data collection operation ongoing to target every American. Anna Puglisi, Senior Fellow at the Center for Security and Emerging Technology at Georgetown University, added we should believe China when they tell us they hope to overcome us.
“Let me be clear, China says it will use any knowledge or technology it acquires for its military. This is not conjuncture or profiling or analysis, but China’s stated position and I would add for decades, we should believe them,” she explained. “Given the scope and scale of China’s activities, a reevaluation of our underlying assumptions and how we evaluate risk will be essential to counter these efforts.”

In June, a Republican House Intelligence Committee investigation notably revealed China had ramped up its influence in corporate America.
