On Oct. 17, two cargo planes transported 85 pallets of donated​ supplies to​ hospitals and⁢ government agencies, while four-passenger ​flights rescued nearly 700 Americans from the⁢ war zone. Florida confirmed that the shipment included drones, body armor, helmets for first responders, and healthcare supplies.

“Since we were already sending supplies to‍ Israel, Florida was able to include the body armor and helmets on our cargo ‌flights,” said Mr. Redfern. “The state did not‍ purchase these‌ items.”
