Another major protest on Monday was held on the westbound Interstate 190, which leads to the O’Hare International Airport in Chicago. The protest caused major traffic delays, prompting some passengers to abandon their cars and walk to the airport.

Fetterman has been vocal about his support for Israel in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack on the country by the Hamas terrorist group, stating that he fully supports the country “neutralizing the terrorists responsible for this barbarism.” In January, pro-Palestinian protesters protested outside his home in Braddock, Pennsylvania, with Fetterman going to his rooftop and waving an Israel flag in response.
