President Joe Biden Faces Backlash for Ignoring His Granddaughter

President Joe Biden is under fire for his refusal to acknowledge his own grandchild, a four-year-old girl named Navy Joan Roberts. The child, fathered by Biden’s troubled son Hunter Biden with a former stripper from Arkansas, has become the subject of social media condemnation.

The controversy escalated when White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre declined to answer a question about the little girl during a press briefing. The New York Times recently published a story about Navy Joan, revealing that she is aware of her father and grandfather’s identities. However, a child support settlement between her parents prevents her from using the Biden name.

During a press conference, Catherine Lucey from the Wall Street Journal asked Jean-Pierre if President Biden acknowledges Navy Joan as his granddaughter. Jean-Pierre responded with, “I don’t have anything to share from here.”

This is not the first time Jean-Pierre has avoided addressing the issue. In May, she refused to comment when asked why the president and First Lady had not acknowledged their seventh grandchild.

In April, Joe Biden himself spoke about his grandchildren, stating, “I have six grandchildren. And I’m crazy about them. And I speak to them every single day.”

The president’s refusal to acknowledge his own flesh and blood has raised concerns about his portrayal as a devoted family man. Joe Gabriel Simonson of the Washington Free Beacon wrote, “Biden claims to be a devoted ‘family man,’ but his persistent refusal to acknowledge his granddaughter’s existence raises troubling questions about his capacity for human kindness and paternal love.”

Jean-Pierre’s response during the press conference has sparked further mockery from conservatives online.

Stephen Miller from The Spectator sarcastically commented, “You can just feel the empathy and decency oozing,” in reference to the Left’s portrayal of Biden as empathetic and decent.
