FBI Investigating China’s Spy Balloon – Most of Which Remains Underwater

China claims that the balloon was a civilian flightship that was lost on its intended course. It also claimed that it was gathering data about weather conditions.

Officials from the United States laughed off this claim.

Biden administration officials stated that the balloon was the latest in five Chinese spy balloons to be known to have crossed into U.S. Airspace. According to the U.S. there have been incursions into their airspaces by Chinese balloons from more than 40 countries.
