Dr. Anthony Fauci ordered a February 2020 paper of research to discredit the idea that COVID-19 was leaked from Chinese laboratories. Emails obtained by House Republicans reveal that this revelation comes at a time when multiple federal agencies support the lab-leak theory.
Fauci referenced the paper, entitled “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2,” At a White House press conference held on April 17, 2020, he claimed to not be familiar with the authors.
