The Associated Press reported that approximately 1,400 people were killed in this brutal attack.
In the aftermath of this tragedy, many in the Western world began to push back against Israel’s defensive counterattack. Left-wing protests emerged, defending the Palestinian people and even expressing support for Hamas. These protests are fueled by two recurring claims: that Israel is a colonized state that “stole” the land from Arab Palestinians, and that Israel is currently practicing apartheid against its non-Jewish population.
But are these claims true?
