EXCLUSIVE: Senator Requests Government Response on COVID-19 Vaccine Injuries Compensation

A lawmaker from the United States is requesting information from U.S. officials regarding reward for COVID-19 vaccine victims.

Sen. Ron Johnson( R-Wis. ), a senior senator on the Senate’s’s Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, requested important information about the U.S. compensation program, including the amount each compensation recipient requested.

The first time payments were made for the COVID vaccinations when the government recently paid three men who had been harmed by the vaccinations. However, the highest payout was only$ 2, 019.

Johnson also questions whether officials anticipate an increase in claims given the number of injury reports logged with the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, the amount of money injured people are eligible for under the program, and whether the government has advertised the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program ( CICP ), the only venue for federal compensation.

In a letter to Carole Johnson, the director of the Health and Resources Administration( HRSA ), and Xavier Becerra, secretary of health and human services( HS ), the Republican outlined the information that was requested.

Requests for comment were never answered by HHS and HRSA.

Johnson stated in an emailed statement to The Epoch Times that” the mechanism by which HHS evaluates these cases or even advertises the existence of this reward program remains transparent ,” despite the fact that the government appears to be paying very little compensation to people who have filed COVID-19 vaccine injury cases.

He continued,” HHS owes the American people a thorough explanation of how it handles the payment system for people who have been injured by the COVID-19 immunization.”

HRSA administers the CICP from an practice inside HHS. The.
