X owner Elon Musk said on his platform this week that he believes that the entire political Left will soon be engulfed in anti-Semitism.

Musk made the remarks while responding to a post from Columbia University Assistant Professor Shai Davidai, who is Jewish and was denied entry at the campus last week.

“When all is said and done, and those who excuse, support, glorify, and identify with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad are removed from @Columbia and other U.S. colleges, I will not be happy,” Davidai wrote. “I will be relieved. But I will also be disappointed. Disappointed by the complete lack of leadership at @Columbia and @Harvard and @Yale and @CUNY and @Stanford and @UCLA and @UCBerkeley and @Penn and many other U.S. colleges.”

“Disappointed by media outlets like @NYTimes and @60Minutes who, for six months, have been playing ‘both-sidesism,’ downplaying the risk of antisemitism and terrorism, and giving Hamas supporters airtime,” he continued. “Disappointed by the mayors of New York City and Chicago and Los Angeles and New Haven and Boston and Palo Alto and many other American metropolis who care more about polling averages than about doing the right thing.”

Davidai said that he was most disappointed in Columbia University and others who decided to “look the other way” and ignore the growing anti-Semitism on their campuses.

“I’ve been personally warning about this for six months and none of your listened,” he said. “I’m just glad you’re listening now.”

Musk responded: “The young on the left are obviously already openly anti-Semitic. As they grow in seniority, this will become the entire left.”

The remarks come as numerous anti-Semitic demonstrations have erupted at college campuses across the U.S., including some of the country’s most elite universities.

At many of the demonstrations, protesters have shown support for designated Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTO), including Hamas and Hezbollah while others chanted the slogan that appears on ISIS’ flag. There have also been numerous protests where people have chanted “intifada,” a call for violent terrorist attack against Israel and its supporters.
