Election Denier Stacey Abrams Is Now Working To Eliminate Gas Stoves
Stacey Abrams, a Georgia gubernatorial candidate who has twice failed, is now a lawyer for dark money groups that is trying to get rid of gas-powered stoves.
Fox News reported Abrams has been appointed general counsel to Rewiring America. The group, part of a left-wing dark money fund controlled by Arabella Advisors, has long pushed for “decarbonizing our economy,” a cause the Biden administration has embraced in recent weeks.
Talor Gruenwald, a Rewiring America researcher, wrote the study used by the Biden administration to justify a possible gas-stove ban. He was previously employed at the Rocky Mountain Institute which shares board members and control with Chinese state-controlled corporations.
The unsuccessful candidate will “launch and scale a national awareness campaign and a network of large and small communities working to help Americans go electric,” Rewiring America has been announced. The group has blasted the use of gas stoves and called for mass “electrification,” Which the CEO of the group was praised as “the most equity-centered climate strategy we have.”
Abrams, in 2018, refused to admit her election loss to Brian Kemp (R.), falsely alleging that Kemp stole her election. In 2022, she lost again to Kemp, this time by almost 300,000.
Rewiring America, in its statement, praised Abrams for being a “rewiring America”. “political leader, voting rights activist, and bestselling author.”
Fox reported that the Windward Fund sponsored the group, which is itself a member in turn of Arabella Advisors dark money network. Arabella manages the North Fund which is a shape-shifting organisation. “uses aliases to push an array of left-wing causes from a shell office in Washington, D.C.,” The Washington Free Beacon reported.
Abrams portrays herself as an anticorporate progressive, but she has close relationships with other shadowy millionaires. Her 2022 fundraising haul was largely from these sources. “wealthy coastal Democrats,” The Free Beacon While her report was “voting rights” Foreign billionaires finance nonprofit.
Multiple investigations are underway into the New Georgia Project, another Abrams-owned nonprofit. The tax filing of the group shows that over half a million dollars are missing.
