Drew Barrymore Comforts Tearful Fan During Show Taping
Actress and television talk show host Drew Barrymore showed her compassionate side during a recent taping of “The Drew Barrymore Show” when a fan broke down in tears. The emotional moment was captured on video and shared on the show’s official Instagram account.

Barrymore noticed a woman in the audience crying and immediately went to comfort her. She asked if everything was okay and demanded to know who had made her cry. The audience laughed as Barrymore crossed the set to talk to the woman, who was a huge fan and feeling overwhelmed.
“Oh! Oh, God, thank God it’s nothing bad,” Barrymore said as the woman reassured her that she was okay. “Did you see me coming up here? I was like, tell me where they are! Because I will take them down, who made you cry?”
Barrymore encouraged the woman to embrace her emotions and walked around the barrier to give her a hug. “This is such an honor for me to meet you, I’m sorry, I have dumpling breath,” Barrymore joked as she sat on the woman’s lap and hugged her again.
“It’s so funny that you would say that you don’t want to cry here, I cry here all the time,” Barrymore added before returning to taping.
