Today, Donald Trump ⁣Jr. is set to testify in ‍a Manhattan courthouse‌ in a high-stakes $250 million civil fraud trial involving his father, family, and company.

The Trump Organization, the family’s real estate business, is facing a ⁤lawsuit⁢ from New York Attorney General Letitia James. She alleges ‍that Don Jr. assisted his father in inflating the value of properties and ‍assets in financial⁣ statements ‌to gain benefits such as tax breaks and ‍better bank⁤ loans.

Both Trump and his son maintain ‌their ⁢innocence throughout the case.

Just hours before Don Jr.’s⁤ testimony, the former president took to his social media platform ‌to condemn Judge Arthur Engoron and call for the ⁤case to be ⁤dismissed.

“This ⁣Rigged Trial, ‍brought by the Racist ⁤New York State⁤ A.G. Letitia James⁣ before Trump and developer Hating Judge, Arthur Engoron, which should have never been brought in that the so-called ⁢STAR WITNESS, SleazeBag Lawyer (for ⁣many people) Michael Cohen, admitted last week ⁢on the stand that⁣ he LIED, and also that your⁣ favorite President,‍ Donald‍ J. Trump, or anyone from the Trump Organization, NEVER TOLD HIM TO INFLATE VALUES ON FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, the opposite of what‌ he told the A.G. in⁢ order⁤ to get‌ this HOAX started,” Trump wrote.

“Therefore, on that fact alone, this Fake⁢ Case should be‌ dismissed. ⁢Additionally, however, the ⁢Financial Statements Values are Conservative (LOW!), Mar-a-Lago is worth MUCH MORE than $18,000,000, there is a 100% ‍Disclaimer Clause on the 1st page of the Statements, the Banks and Insurance Companies were paid in‌ full, ⁣no defaults, they all made money, and ⁤there is no ‍Victim (except me!),” he ‍continued. “Leave my children alone,‍ Engoron. You are a disgrace to the legal profession.”

Judge Engoron has previously fined the former⁢ president twice for violating a gag order.

The civil trial is now considering six remaining allegations in James’ lawsuit, as well as the potential penalty.

If found guilty, the former ⁤president could⁢ lose control of his properties, face a hefty‌ fine, ‍and be⁢ banned from ‍conducting ‍business in‌ New‍ York.

Title: Donald Trump Jr. Set to Testify in $250 Million Civil Fraud Trial Against His Father and Family

Introduction

Today, in a Manhattan courthouse, Donald ‍Trump Jr. is scheduled to testify in a high-stakes civil fraud ⁤trial involving his‍ father, the Trump ‌Organization, and⁢ members of his family. The ⁢trial, initiated by New York Attorney General Letitia James, alleges that the Trump Organization inflated the value of properties and assets in financial statements to gain benefits such ‌as⁤ tax breaks⁤ and better bank loans. As the trial unfolds, tensions rise‍ as former President Donald‌ Trump voices his displeasure⁢ and calls for the⁤ case ⁢to be dismissed.

Background

The Trump Organization, a prominent real estate business owned by the Trump family, has been accused of ⁢engaging in fraudulent practices to manipulate financial statements for ⁤personal gains. Letitia James⁣ argues that Donald Trump Jr. played a role in assisting his father⁣ in these alleged fraudulent activities. By inflating property values ⁤and⁢ assets, they sought⁤ to obtain ‍advantages such as tax benefits and improved loan terms, placing their actions under scrutiny.

Maintaining Innocence

Both Donald Trump ‍Sr. and his son, Donald Trump Jr., have steadfastly ⁣maintained their‌ innocence throughout the⁣ proceedings. They ⁢deny any wrongdoing and refute the claims made by the Attorney General. As the trial commences, all eyes are ⁢on⁣ Donald Trump Jr. as he takes the stand to provide his testimony.

Trump’s Social Media Response

Just hours before his son’s ‍testimony, Donald ‍Trump ⁢Sr. took to social media to express his disdain for Judge Arthur Engoron, who is presiding over the case. Trump disparaged the judge and called for the dismissal of the trial, labeling it‌ a “rigged trial” brought forward by the “racist”‍ New York State Attorney General Letitia James. ‌Trump further argued that the case was initiated based on false information provided ‍by “SleazeBag Lawyer” Michael Cohen, who had previously lied on⁤ the‍ stand.

Trump’s Plea for Dismissal

Donald Trump Sr. reiterated his plea for the dismissal of the case, asserting ⁣that the ‍financial statements‍ in question⁤ were conservative and that the alleged inflated values were unsubstantiated. He claimed that Mar-a-Lago was worth much more than reported and insisted that there were no ⁤victims, apart from himself. Trump’s ⁣strongly⁣ worded social media⁢ posts ⁤have intensified the already contentious atmosphere surrounding the trial.

Judge Engoron’s⁢ Involvement

Judge Arthur ⁢Engoron has previously fined Donald Trump Sr. twice for violating a gag order imposed during the legal proceedings. This history, coupled with⁤ the President’s statements, has raised⁣ questions about the impartiality and fairness of the trial.

Conclusion

As Donald Trump Jr. prepares to testify, ⁢the⁤ $250 million civil fraud trial against⁤ his father, family, and the Trump Organization has attracted significant attention. The outcome of this trial ‍will not only have significant implications for the ⁤Trump family but could also serve as a precedent for future cases involving high-profile individuals. The courtroom drama continues to unfold, remaining at the forefront ⁣of national and international media coverage.
