Dolly Parton’s Creativity Library is expanding its philanthropic efforts in the United Kingdom, thanks to a £5 million ($6.6 million) funding boost from Britain’s People’s Postcode Lottery. This expansion in London will make over 150,000 children eligible to receive a free book each month from birth to age 5. Since its inception, the program has distributed more than 7 million books to UK children and over 330 million worldwide, continuing Parton’s mission to promote literacy and early childhood education.
