Disneyland Will Host First Ever Pride Nite During ‘After Dark’ Series

As part of the park’s’s” After Dark” show, Disneyland announced late last week that the California-based theme park will host its first-ever Pride Nites in June.

The LGBTQIA + party, which will take place over the course of two nights on June 13 and 15, will be the first of its kind in the self-described” happiest place on earth.”

Disney announced via Twitter that” Pride Nite, the first-ever Disneyland After Dark, will visit @ Disneyland during Pride Month in June.” The LGBTQIA + community and friends will be honored at this separately ticketed ceremony, which will feature themed entertainment, Disney characters, niche menu items, and more.

According to an ABC News report, some of the entertainment attendees could anticipate attending those events, such as” Pride Night Cavalcade ,” an Ohana Dance Party in Tomorrowland featuring Stitch, a Pride Night Dance Club at the Rivers of America, and the Golden Horseshoe’s’s country line dancing event.

A number of beloved Disney people are already anticipated to attend the event and will be available to take pictures with attendees at all times.

The afternoons are scheduled to start with a pre-event social party from 6 p.m. to 9 o’clock, followed by the main occasion from 9 to 1 am, during which time guests will also be able to take advantage of the park’s’s many rides and attractions.

The news comes as Disney is still at odds with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who has vowed to make sure the more and more awake company follows the same rules and requirements as other companies in his condition after years of independence and self-government.
