DeSantis takes action against Soros-backed prosecutor for ‘neglecting responsibilities’ through executive order.

DeSantis Takes‍ Action Against Soros-Funded Prosecutor

Republican Gov. Ron ⁣DeSantis of ‍Florida, known for his strong conservative stance, recently made a bold ‌move to address a concerning issue in his state.

According to Fox News, DeSantis‌ issued an executive order suspending Ninth ⁣Judicial Circuit State Attorney Monique Worrell due to her “dereliction of duty.”

Worrell, who received financial ⁤support from Hungarian-American‌ billionaire and progressive political activist George⁤ Soros during her 2020 election campaign, has ⁣been criticized for her soft-on-crime approach.

DeSantis’‍ office stated that Worrell’s lenient approach has‍ allowed⁣ violent offenders and dangerous drug traffickers to⁣ receive reduced sentences or evade incarceration altogether, posing a threat ‌to public safety.

Similar to other Soros-backed progressive prosecutors, Worrell prioritized the interests of⁤ criminals over the well-being of the community.

Soros’ involvement in the 2020 race for Orlando’s‌ State Attorney Office sparked ⁣controversy, with his PAC, “Our ‍Voice Our Vote,” spending over $1.5 million on pro-Worrell ads, surpassing ⁢the ‍combined spending of ⁣all four candidates.

While Democrats often condemn election interference, they conveniently overlook Soros’ meddling in state-level elections to‍ promote his progressive agenda.

DeSantis, citing ⁤the Florida constitution, defended his authority to remove Worrell. This is‌ not ⁣the first time he‍ has ⁣taken action against a state attorney, as he⁤ previously suspended Hillsborough County state attorney Andrew Warren.

Despite his unsuccessful presidential campaign, DeSantis has demonstrated his commitment to ‍upholding the law‌ and protecting the interests of his⁣ constituents.
