DeSantis Responds To Opponents Who Claim He Doesn’t Have Enough ‘Personality’ To Be President

In an interview this year, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis dismissed accusations from some of his political foes who contend that he lacks the personality necessary to succeed Barack Obama as president.

The comments were made by DeSantis during a Fox Nation meeting with Piers Morgan on Thursday night.

One of the other criticisms of your personality, Morgan said, is” presumably because some people don’t know you very well, but those who do, who I’ve spoken to, tell a numerous story.” However, some nationwide media outlets portray you as being extremely acute, boring, and charismaless.

DeSantis chuckled and said,” Well, I appreciate the criticisms of the book; it’s by far the best book in America.” ” In the first week, I sold more than any non-president in the nation’s so, so we’ve been doing really well, and a lot of people like it.”

DeSantis then responded to some of the social opposition’s criticisms, claiming that they were incensed by his lack of attention to joining the social clubs that political elites frequented and his preference for doing his work, returning home, and spending time with his family.

The problem is that, in my opinion, these are members of the political, journalistic, and democratic classes, particularly in Washington, D.C., who become irate when I don’t attend cocktail parties, DeSantis said. I dislike elbow-rubbing with many individuals. I enjoy working hard and then spending time with my loved ones. That’s exactly what I do.
