Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will make his first trip to Iowa on FridayHe is getting closer to making his presidential campaign official.
DeSantis will travel to a few key battleground states this weekend in order to meet them. Two stops in Hawkeye state Before traveling to Nevada, The governor of Florida will meet with Iowans and hold a few private meetings with party leaders while in Iowa.

DeSantis’ Iowa trip marks a major step towards his presidential ambitions. He joins an increasing number of GOP candidates as he visits the first state to be nominated by the GOP. Republican candidate Nikki Haley Former President of the United States, is scheduled to visit the state Friday Donald Trump His first Iowa event is also set for Monday.
Trump announced his third presidential bid almost four months ago but has not yet made a trip to Iowa. Iowa is considered a key nominating state since the first caucuses in the primary cycle were held there. Trump is now trying to convince top state party leaders to support his bid.
