Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) has become the latest target of protesters opposing the war in Gaza. Vandals defaced his New York office with graffiti messages that read “Blood on ur hands” and “Let Gaza live.” Shockingly, the words “Free Palestine” were also spray-painted on the office of this Jewish congressman. This act of vandalism follows the arrest of pro-Palestinian protesters who engaged in a violent demonstration outside the Democratic National Committee’s headquarters.

Goldman’s communications director, Simone Kanter, expressed concern over the incident, stating, “Harassing, intimidating, and outright attacking the staff of a Jewish elected official at a time of rising violence and rampant antisemitism is dangerous and unacceptable.” The New York City Police Department is currently investigating the vandalism, with security footage revealing at least two individuals defacing the building.
Goldman, who has not publicly addressed the vandalism, was in Israel with his family when Hamas launched an attack on the Jewish state. While he has shown support for both Israel and Palestinian civilians, he has predominantly stood with Israel, aligning with the stance of the White House.
This incident follows the recent vandalism of the Democratic Party’s offices in Belknap County, New Hampshire, where antisemitic and white supremacist messages were plastered on the walls.
