Democrat Gives The Worst Parenting Advice Ever

It is unknown who exactly goes to Democratic officials for parenting tips, as their first instinct upon hearing that you are pregnant is to recommend aborting.

The lieutenant governor in Minnesota offered some advice recently on what to do if your child leaves the womb.

The Daily Wire reported on Thursday that the Lieutenant Governor. Peggy Flanagan recently extolled radical gender ideology in front of a crowd, declaring, “When our children tell us who they are, it is our job as grown-ups to listen and to believe them. That’s what it means to be a good parent.”

She spoke out in defense of an executive Order signed by Democratic Governor Tim Walz. It legally protected things like hormone therapies, puberty blockers and other minor-related matters.

Let’s not address radical gender ideology directly but use a comparison to illustrate how stupid that is.

Your toddler might come to you and say they are a bird. You could encourage them to imagine other birds. If your 2-year old was about to leap from the roof believing he could fly, then you would not allow it. If you actually believed your child was a bird, then your son would get seriously hurt or worse — not unlike the sex-change surgeries Flanagan touts.

This is also terrible advice for any other aspect of your life that are not related to gender dysmorphia.

If your son came to tell you, “Mom, I’m a failure,” You wouldn’t tell, “That’s right, son!”

A “good parent” They wouldn’t affirm the child’s claim that they are a failure. They would probably encourage their child not to say that they are a failure, but instead encourage them to try and fail again until they succeed. They don’t have to be defined by their mistakes, but their ability to persevere through them.

Or, if your girl said so, “I’m never going to get an A on this test,” A good parent would not allow their child to dwell on self-pity. They’d likely tell their daughter. “Not with that attitude you won’t,” Help your child learn.

What is the best parenting? “believe” them?

It is not more prudent to say it. “Well, son, some boys like to play with dolls, and that’s okay; It doesn’t make you a girl. And some girls like to play sports, but that doesn’t make you a boy.”

Flanagan, a leftist, encourages parents to let go of their duty to guide their children through their lives.

Matt Walsh, Daily Wire host, put it this way: “No it is not our job as grownups to simply believe whatever our children say. In fact, our job very often is to do exactly the opposite.”
