Be a Hero: Don’t Stand By

When someone is in danger, it’s easy to feel helpless and unsure of what to do. But being a good Samaritan means taking action and standing up for what’s right.

Here are some ways you can be a hero:

• Call for help: If you see someone in danger, call 911 or the local authorities immediately.
• Intervene: If it’s safe to do so, step in and try to diffuse the situation. Sometimes just having someone else there can make a big difference.
• Offer support: After the incident, offer your support to the victim. Let them know they’re not alone and that you’re there for them.

Remember, being a hero doesn’t mean you have to be a superhero. It just means doing what you can to help others and make the world a better place.
