Dan Bongino Blasts Washington Post Reporter: ‘Are You A Dips*** All The Time?’

Conservative radio host Dan Bongino blasted a Washington Post reporter in an email following a report over his vaccine mandate response, referring to the writer as a “dips***.”

The email was made public on Twitter by The Washington Post’s Jeremy Barr on Tuesday. The post referred to an alleged December 20 email from Bongino that read:

Are you a dips*** all the time, or just on weekdays? Do you even listen to my show where I explained what’s going on? Or is your oddly shaped head so far up your ass that you can’t hear? Given that you’re a chump, and a coward, who has never stood for a single thing in your entire sorry life, I’m not surprised you left out all of the relevant details of the story. Lose my email, and don’t bother contacting me again. Thanks, and have a Merry Christmas. Off to the spam file labeled “media dips***s” you go.

In a second post, Barr said, “Of course, I asked him which “relevant details” I had left out so I could address them if necessary. Unfortunately, he did not respond.”

The Washington Post article focused on Bongino’s conflict with Cumulus Media, the company that syndicates his radio program. Bongino has publicly stated that he is vaccinated, but strongly opposed the company’s vaccine mandate.

The conflict led to “The Dan Bongino Show” going off the air for more than a week. Bongino later returned to the daily radio program.

“A lot has happened since then, but not much has changed for Bongino and his bosses. He is still hosting the same show, even though Cumulus Media does not appear to have changed its mandate. That’s led some radio hosts and industry observers to question Bongino’s commitment to his ultimatum,” Barr wrote in the article.

The article appeared to question Bongino’s threat to end his program with Cumulus over the mandate. Further, the report noted employees let go by the company for refusing the vaccine mandate have not been reinstated.

Inside Radio reported on several Cumulus Media hosts leaving positions due to the company’s vaccine mandate announced in August. Two hosts from Colorado Springs stations KVOR and KKFM were among those who have left the company.

“Exceptions to the return to office plan will not be considered except as legally required,” Cumulus Media CEO Mary Berner stated in August. “The decision to return to our offices was made with utmost consideration and reflects how we believe we can optimize our business efforts. Put simply, we believe that Force Cumulus is at our best when we’re working together in offices. To do that as safely as we reasonably can, we’re requiring that everyone be vaccinated except those legally excepted. It would neither be fair nor do we have the bandwidth to make exceptions based on individual preferences.”
