Sen. Ted Cruz Slams President Biden for Use of Email Aliases
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) criticized President Joe Biden for his use of multiple email aliases during his time as vice president, suggesting that it indicates an attempt to conceal information.
The Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF) has filed a federal lawsuit against the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in an effort to obtain approximately 5,400 emails connected to then-Vice President Joe Biden’s pseudonym accounts. These emails are believed to contain government-related information and discussions involving Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and others. The pseudonyms used by Biden include Robin Ware, Robert L. Peters, and JRB Ware.
During an episode of his podcast “Verdict,” Cruz stated, “He would use these pseudonyms on official government emails that were to and from Hunter Biden.”
Cruz further commented on the significance of these emails, saying, “If you’re wondering how much the Biden family business was Hunter selling access to, and more fundamentally, favors from daddy, the news that broke this week about the number of emails with Joe Biden’s fake email addresses is astonishing. The National Archives and Records Administration acknowledged that they possessed up to 5,400 of them. That’s a stunning number. There is no legitimate reason for the sitting Vice President of the United States to use a fake email on official government emails to his son about Ukraine while Hunter Biden was making millions of dollars from a Ukrainian oligarch for his father’s favors.”
Cruz criticized Biden for refusing to address any questions regarding this matter and called out mainstream news organizations for their lack of coverage on the scandal.
He later added, “If you use a burner email, a fake email, if you use a burner phone as it’s now been reported Joe Biden did, the natural implication is you’re trying to hide something. You’re trying to get around the law. There’s a reason you’re hiding who you are. The White House has not provided any innocent explanation for this, and I can’t even imagine what an innocent explanation would be. Their only response is that the media doesn’t cover it because they’re the White House.”
