‘Creepy’: Sarah Palin Whacks AOC Over ‘Mad They Can’t Date Me’ Defense

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin chided Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) Monday after the New York Democrat claimed her critics were just “mad they can’t date me.”

Palin, who was the GOP nominee for vice president in 2008, appeared on Fox News on Monday and said that Ocasio-Cortez was attempting to deflect criticism over her recent vacation to Florida as COVID-19 cases again spiked in New York. Ocasio-Cortez was mocked for unwinding in Florida after being a vocal proponent of strict COVID-19 policies.

Ocasio-Cortez responded to her critics by claiming that the attacks were the result of pent-up, “deranged sexual frustrations,” and that Republicans were just coping because “they can’t date me.”

“If Republicans are mad they can’t date me they can just say that instead of projecting their sexual frustrations onto my boyfriend’s feet,” Ocasio-Cortez tweeted after she and her boyfriend were photographed dining in Florida. “Ya creepy weirdos.”

“It’s starting to get old ignoring the very obvious, strange, and deranged sexual frustrations that underpin the Republican fixation on me, women,& LGBT+ people in general,” she added. “These people clearly need therapy, won’t do it, and use politics as their outlet instead. It’s really weird.”

Palin slammed the congresswoman’s response as “pretty creepy” and “junior high-ish.” Palin said:

Isn’t that something? That’s pretty creepy. That’s pretty junior high-ish creepy. It amazes me, though, her and other liberals – socialists, even – their ability to deflect from what the issues truly are. And here, her obsession, at least suggestions of always gender and sex, even. You know, I truly believe there are enough Americans who get it and understand what her tactic is, and that is to deflect from what the real issues are.

But yeah, take this issue though with her suggestion of dating and attraction to someone and blaming her failures on that, that obsession with sex. Look how the liberals want to pound that into the public’s head: advertising who is attracted to who, what people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms, all those things that have to do with privacy and sex. The liberals, not the conservatives, are the ones who pound, pound, pound after that and, obviously, it’s a tactic so that she doesn’t have to be held accountable. It sounds like she hasn’t been held accountable for much, maybe in her entire life, so she does not have that foundation of accountability and, you know, that public service heart that is so necessary to serve well and be accountable.

Following her vacation to Florida, Ocasio-Cortez tested positive for COVID-19. The congresswoman is vaccinated and received a booster shot in the fall of 2021. As The Daily Wire reported:

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) announced Sunday evening that she has tested positive for COVID-19. The announcement comes just a week after the New York representative was caught vacationing in Florida and partying at a drag club with celebrity Billy Porter while skipping voting in person at the Capitol in Washington, D.C, because of the “ongoing emergency pandemic.”

“Representative Ocasio-Cortez has received a positive test result for COVID-19. She is experiencing symptoms and recovering at home,” her office said in a statement.

“The Congresswoman received her booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance,” the office added.
