An individual allegedly involved in a thwarted terrorist attack aimed at Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 event at the White House parroted Democrat conspiracy theories about President Trump protecting child predators connected to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, according to federal court documents.

The revelation came on Tuesday, when Fox News reported on how the FBI and law enforcement disrupted the alleged plot targeting the UFC event, where Trump and other high-ranking administration officials were in attendance. According to the outlet, officials said the purported plan “involved using explosive-laden drones to hit buildings near the event, force a mass evacuation and steer crowds toward a pre-staged sniper team.”

“A ‘second wave’ was then allegedly planned to storm the White House gate, according to officials,” the report reads.

At least five people have been taken into custody as of Monday, with authorities identifying 23 people “as part of a potential network of plotters,” the outlet reported. Many of the alleged participants purportedly coordinated over the messaging app Signal.

One of the alleged organizers identified by court documents is Michael Alan Thomas, who was detained in California and has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. According to court documents reported by Fox’s Bill Melugin, Thomas “said that the aim of this and subsequent attacks was to create enough chaos to bring about the overthrow of the U.S. government.”

Equally notable, however, is Thomas’ purported willingness to believe conspiratorial narratives spun by Democrats that Trump is protecting child abusers with ties to Epstein.

Per the court records, Thomas “indicated that he believes that the U.S. government is run by an elite group of individuals who sacrifice and consume infants who also were deeply involved with Jeffrey Epstein and are now protected by President Donald Trump.” The records further state that the alleged plotter “places some of the responsibility of this corruption of government on Jewish people and blames them and Israel for the current war with Iran.”

As The Federalist’s Mark Hemingway previously noted, the left has been “trying furiously” to tie Trump to Epstein since the former’s return to office despite having never cared about such ties until they believed they could use the issue to attack the president. Democrats have repeatedly accused Trump and Republicans of orchestrating a “cover-up” to protect pedophiles — a narrative Thomas seemingly bought into.

Other named suspects reportedly taken into custody for their involvement in the alleged plot include Bryan Omar Roa and 19-year-old Tycen Proper. According to Fox, Proper “allegedly spent $3,000 of his ‘graduation money’ to purchase ‘lots of’ ammunition, guns, extra magazines and other items for the alleged attack.” Like Thomas, Roa was charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The alleged UFC terror plot comes weeks after an armed man stormed past security at the White House Correspondents Dinner as part of an attempt on Trump’s life. The incident appears to be one of several in which unhinged leftists tried to kill the president.
