Country Star Clay Walker Shares Heartbreaking News of Miscarriage

Country music sensation Clay Walker recently shared devastating news with his fans. He and his wife, Jessica Craig, suffered a miscarriage at 20 weeks with their sixth child. The 53-year-old singer opened up to People magazine about the loss of their baby girl, which has been incredibly difficult for the whole family.

Walker revealed that they had only recently shared the happy news of their pregnancy, making the loss even more heartbreaking. “The whole family had been waiting for the baby and it was really, just a huge blow,” he said. “We had her room ready, her clothes bought — everything, and her name, Eleanora Lindsey. So, it was a nightmare and still is for my wife.”

Despite having five successful full-term pregnancies and five beautiful children, the loss of their sixth child has been tough. The “Live Until I Die” hitmaker shares five kids with Craig, one daughter, and four sons. He also has two adult daughters from a previous marriage.

Walker shared that they have turned to their faith and close friends for support during this difficult time. “We’ve got a great friend group that’s been there for us, you know, a lot of prayer,” he said. “And we’ve had a lot of prayer internally in our home. But still, you know, I could talk all day about this.”

The singer expressed his sympathy for all the women who have experienced a miscarriage, saying, “It felt like we got run over by a train and just watching my wife suffer through that… I feel for all the women out there who have been through a miscarriage, just because you’re losing a child.”
