Country Singer Jake Flint Dies At 37, Hours After His Wedding

Country singer Jake Flint has died only hours after he and his bride finally walked down the aisle. He was 37.

“With a broken heart and in deep grief I must announce that Jake Flint has tragically passed away,” the singer’s manager, Brenda Cline, wrote on social media Sunday, according to the New York Post.

“I’ve tried several times today to make a post, but you can’t comment on what you can’t process,” Cline added.

At the time of this publication, a cause of death was unknown. However, according The Oklahoman, Flint died Saturday night in his sleep.

His widow, Brenda Flint, shared on social media that she was in disbelief.

“We should be going through wedding photos but instead I have to pick out clothes to bury my husband in,” her post read. “People aren’t meant to feel this much pain. My heart is gone and I just really need him to come back. I can’t take much more. I need him here.”
