Cosmetics Chairman Buys Late-Rush Limbaugh’s Palm Beach Estate
William Lauder, the cosmetics billionaire and chairman at Cosmetics, was revealed to be the late’s purchaser Rush Limbaugh Palm Beach estate has a record for more than $150 million.
The 62-year-old executive chairman of the famed cosmetics brand The Estée Lauder Companies, bought the 2.7-acre sprawling property of Limbaugh’s — which consists of three homes — for $155 million, the Wall Street Journal reported. At 70, the legendary radio host died from lung cancer.
Kathryn Adams Limbaugh was Limbaugh’s fourth and widow, after having sold the estate off-market for eight month. New York Post noted.
The post previously reported that the estate with addresses — 1495 North Ocean Boulevard, 1501 North Ocean Boulevard, and 108 Mediterranean Road — were purchased with an anonymous LLC.

According to the outlet, Rush was the voice behind the Golden EIB microphone and purchased the main property for $3.9million in 1998. Rush was at the time married to Marta Fitzgerald, his third wife.
In 2004, the couple split. He and Kathryn got married on Palm Beach in 2010. Limbaugh bought four properties in order to create the estate with ocean frontage through a trust that was created by his widow. Washington Examiner noted.
According to the late-conservative radio commentator, his property boasts 250 feet of oceanfront views and a 24,000-square foot mansion. “scaled-down version” The Post noted that the two-story Biltmore Estate Library in North Carolina was used as a home station for Limbaugh’s radio broadcasts, a private shore, and a guard station for 24 hour security services.
Kathryn appeared on The “Rush Limbaugh Show” In 2021, he declared his death to listeners.
