Comedians Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider And More Defend Chris Rock’s Will Smith Jokes

Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, and other comedians have shown their support for Chris Rock’s latest Netflix comedy special, in which he makes jokes about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith. Sandler, who received the 2023 Mark Twain Prize for American Humor, said he never felt that Rock went too far with his jokes. Schneider also praised Rock, stating that he “really does set the bar”. Dana Carvey defended Rock’s material, saying that there is “no such thing as too far” when it comes to opinions. Megyn Kelly recently sparked controversy by criticizing Rock’s jokes and suggesting they hurt Smith’s feelings.
