CNN Struggles to Block GOP Investigations Into Bidens and COVID

Republicans will soon take control of the House. GOP congressional leaders promised to hold President Biden, his government, and federal bureaucrats accountable, and to uncover key issues. CNN was fed up with congressional inquiries from Randi after several dragged out investigations into Trump and other Republicans. “Kush” Kaye scoffing at Republicans during Monday’s Anderson Cooper 360.

Kaye, who’s famous for seemingly getting high during CNN’s New Year’s Eve debauchery in 2017, began her report by huffing about Kentucky Republican Congressman James Comer’s determination to have his House Oversight and Reform Committee “investigate whether Joe Biden and, his son Hunter are, as he puts it, ‘compromised.’”

Ignoring the evidence of apparent corruption found on Hunter Biden’s laptop, Kaye warned of what Republicans planned to do:

The heart of the investigation is a slew of suspicious activity reports, which Republicans claim were filed by banks, and related to Hunter Biden’s financial activities.

Republicans, the House’s incoming majority, can subpoena foreign entities and other persons who did business with Hunter Biden to obtain those reports.

Kaye claimed Kaye’s innocence without any supporting evidence “There is no evidence Joe Biden did anything wrong. And Hunter Biden has denied any wrongdoing.” This does not answer questions about the 10% “for the big guy” and Joe’s false claims about never speaking with his son about his business dealings.

When it came to investigating the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan, Kaye blamed Trump despite Biden undoing many of Trump’s policy actions immediately after taking office:

The Taliban and Trump administration brokered the withdrawal in February 2020. This left thousands of Afghan citizens, who had aided the U.S., in uncertainty. Some tried to flee the country in a panic by holding onto to their plane wings.

However, she did not forget to mention: “In the days following Biden’s withdrawal announcement, 13 U.S. troops were killed, along with more than 170 Afghans in a bombing at the airport in Kabul.”

Kaye also took strong issue with Republican demands to get to the bottom of COVID’s origin. She attempted to discredit the laboratory-leak theory, claiming that research points to a “seafood market,” despite expert skepticism of the results due to China’s obstruction and influence in the writing of it:

House Republicans plan to investigate how Pandemic began, despite two July studies concluding that Wuhan was the epicenter of the virus.

Meanwhile, CNN once boosted COVID is a Chinese concept.

“They are also vowing to investigate Dr. Anthony Fauci, the newly retired Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,” She wailed as if he was too old to ask questions.

RANDI KAYE – Republican Congressman James Comer from Kentucky is the incoming Chair for the House Oversight and Reform Committee. He’s determined to determine if Joe Biden and Hunter, as he describes it, are in fact, the same person. “compromised.”

REP. JAMES COMMER (R-KY). This evidence raises troubling concerns about whether President Biden poses a national security threat and whether he is being compromised by foreign governments.

KAYE: All of this dates back to 2014 when Hunter Biden joined Board of Burisma (a private Ukrainian gas company). He was paid $50,000 per month. His father was Vice President at the time and was responsible for some of the foreign policy in Ukraine for the Obama administration.

KAYE – The Republicans have indicated they will also investigate America’s withdrawal form Afghanistan.

KAYE – Nearly twenty years after the U.S. established its presence in Afghanistan, Biden pulled all American troops out of Afghanistan in 2021.
