Climate change alarmists upset by Martha Stewart’s cocktail joke about an ‘iceberg’.
Martha Stewart finds herself in hot water after sharing a social media post about an “iceberg” in her cocktail.
This week, the 82-year-old television personality posted photos of her cruise, including a snapshot of her holding a beverage with a smile and another of a large chunk of ice on a cart.
In the image caption, Stewart wrote, “End of the first zodiac cruise from @swanhelleniccruises into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast of greenland (sic). We actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight.”

Climate change alarmists expressed outrage in the comments, calling Stewart’s joke about icebergs “tone deaf,” among other things.
“Martha, the ice caps are melting. Don’t put them in your drink,” one account posted.
“I generally love Martha and the excesses of her life because she’s about beautiful gardens, homes, and food, but wealthy white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is in flames is a bit tone deaf,” another social media user fumed.
“Martha, I love ya. But weren’t you just talking about climate change with your washout on your driveway in NY? Melting icebergs for a cocktail surely won’t help. I’m not even going to talk about the boat you’re on and how that can’t be good for climate change either,” a third echoed.
“So tone deaf. The rich do not care that people have been burned out of homes and the ocean is boiling. More yachts and private jets, huh?” another said.
There were also many followers mocking Stewart’s critics.
“Use that ice in some whiskey!! Screw the naysayers and drink it the way you like!” one account posted.
“Absolutely LOVE this! People who are freaking out need to get a GRIP!” another wrote in their reaction.
Stewart also made headlines and drew mixed reviews in May when she became the oldest cover model to appear on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
“Usually I’m motivated by pay. But this time I was motivated by showing people that a woman my age could still look good, feel good, be good,” Stewart said of agreeing to the photo shoot. “I thought that this is kind of historic and that I better look really good.”
“That’s one of my mottos, when you’re through changing, you’re through,” she continued. “Change is very good. Evolution is very good, just trying new things.”
