Chris Cuomo says ‘Don’t point, be a man’ to Bill O’Reilly
The article reports on a heated NewsNation segment where Chris Cuomo and former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly clashed over Iran’s nuclear program, sparked by comments from Pete Hegseth and IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi. They debated what Iran’s uranium enrichment capabilities mean and how well such figures can be verified given monitoring gaps. Cuomo argued that enrichment calculations can be deceptive without proper verification, while O’Reilly referenced Grossi’s remarks about enrichment levels near 60% and a trump stance on no enrichment. The exchange included sharp back-and-forth, with Cuomo accusing O’Reilly of taking quotes out of context and O’reilly challenging Cuomo, culminating in Cuomo telling him to “read it” and “don’t point, be a man.” A video of the exchange is embedded, and the piece also notes related coverage, including a Trump-related article about Iran enrichment claims.
Chris Cuomo says ‘Don’t point, be a man’ to Bill O’Reilly during shouting match
A segment on NewsNation’s Cuomo turned into a heated debate Wednesday when host Chris Cuomo and former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly clashed over Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
They talked about comments made by War Secretary Pete Hegseth and International Atomic Energy Agency Director General Rafael Grossi.
“We know exactly what they have, and they know that,” Hegseth said during a Wednesday press conference, “and they will either give it to us, which the president has laid out, they’ll give it to us voluntarily.”
Cuomo said these calculations are deceptive when there has been a lack of monitoring in Iran.
O’Reilly brought up a quote from Grossi during an interview with CBS News’s Margaret Brennan in March.
In the transcript, Grossi said, “The inventory of enriched uranium at 60%, which is very close to the degree you need to make a bomb.”
Cuomo said the quote is taken out of context and that Grossi cannot know that percentage, and he called out O’Reilly for taking it out of context on his show.
“He said that they have 60% enriched uranium,” Cuomo said. “Why? Because Iran said they were going to do it after what they said was Israel hitting one of their enrichment facilities. [The IAEA was] never able to go in and verify it.”
O’Reilly fired back and said, “You can believe what you want to believe,” and then told Cuomo to “keep quiet.”
“No, it’s my show, pal,” Cuomo said. “If you don’t like it, you can go.”

O’Reilly pointed his finger at the camera and said Cuomo did not want him to read the quote because it would make Cuomo look foolish.
“Read it,” Cuomo said. “And don’t point, be a man. Don’t be a bigmouth.”
