Candace Owens To Discuss Monkeypox With Guest Dr. Robert Malone

Monkeypox, Bill Gates, and more will be on tap when The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens sits down Tuesday night with Dr. Robert Malone, the pioneering scientist widely credited with inventing mRNA technology only to be marginalized when he questioned federal COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

In the interview, which is set to drop at 9 p.m. ET and is available exclusively to Daily Wire members, Malone and Owens will discuss the latest plague making its way around the world. The virus was first discovered in 1958 among research monkeys in West Africa, but spread to humans in the early 1970s. While extremely rare and not easily transmitted, a recent outbreak has been traced to gay sexual activity at two recent raves in Europe, according to the World Health Organization.

“Are you scared?” Owens asks her audience. “Because you’re supposed to be scared. That’s the point.”

Both Owens and Malone have been critical of Gates, the Microsoft billionaire who has injected himself into the vaccine debate despite not being a doctor or scientist. Gates recently made news when he acknowledged scientists now realize that COVID-19 has a “fairly low fatality rate, and that it’s a disease mainly of the elderly, kind of like the flu,” observations that got Malone kicked off of social media more than a year ago.

Malone, 63, brings a lifetime of experience to the monkeypox discussion. In the late 1980s, he conducted foundational research that led to development of the mRNA vaccine technology used in the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. He worked for decades with experts at the National Institutes of Health and with the Pentagon’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency to help develop Ebola vaccinations and repurpose drugs that could treat Zika virus.

Earlier this month, the Malone-led Global COVID Summit released a declaration on behalf of 17,000 physicians and medical scientists calling for an end to the national COVID-19 emergency and accusing a “corrupt alliance” of government bureaucrats, pharmaceutical and healthcare executives, Big Tech, and media of helping to facilitate “crimes against humanity.”

“This corrupt alliance has compromised the integrity of our most prestigious medical societies to which we belong, generating an illusion of scientific consensus by substituting truth with propaganda,” the declaration read. “This alliance continues to advance unscientific claims by censoring data, and intimidating and firing doctors and scientists for simply publishing actual clinical results or treating their patients with proven, life-saving medicine.”

Malone previously appeared on Owens’ show in January, when he pushed back on claims that he’s “anti-vax” and discussed the theory of “mass-formation psychosis” and how it related to pandemic measures taken by governments around the world. The theory was first posited by Mattias Desmet, a professor of clinical psychology at Ghent University in Belgium, who criticized pandemic measures such as lockdowns and wearing masks.
