California Supreme Court demands Sheriff Chad Bianco return ballots
The California Supreme Court ordered Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco to return over 650,000 ballots he seized in February, undermining his examination into alleged election fraud related to a november 2025 election. Sheriff Bianco, a Republican and former gubernatorial candidate, took the ballots after concerns were raised about a possible vote discrepancy in the county’s vote count for California’s Proposition 50. The ballots showed Riverside County supporting the redistricting initiative by approximately 80,000 votes, which exceeded the reported discrepancy of around 45,000 votes.
