Brooke Rollins touts Trump leadership shaped by ‘dark days’

In a recent podcast hosted by Tudor Dixon, Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins praised former President Donald Trump’s leadership, particularly during the challenging period between his presidential terms. Rollins highlighted Trump’s ability to form a strong team capable of addressing the significant issues facing the nation today. She depicted Trump as a courageous leader whose bold actions reflect the fearlessness needed to guide the country through tough times. Comparing him to ancient figures like George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, Rollins asserted that Trump’s journey into the political arena required real conviction to bring light into a “dark industry.” She also noted the various adversities Trump faced, including legal troubles and attempts on his life, emphasizing her belief that he is destined to lead at this moment in history.

Brooke Rollins touts Trump leadership shaped by ‘dark days’ to ‘meet this moment’

Former Michigan gubernatorial candidate Tudor Dixon acknowledged President Donald Trump’s “extraordinary leadership” on Monday, sharing how Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins told her that the four years between his presidential terms allowed him to form a team to “meet this moment” in history.

Rollins joined Dixon for a discussion on her podcast, in which the secretary said the president’s “boldness and courage” navigated the “dark days” between leaving office in 2021 and returning earlier this year. Rollins added that Trump’s courage had morphed into “fearlessness” that could “save the nation,” comparing him to iconic presidents such as George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln.

“And you know, a lot of people say, ‘Aww, well, don’t put him in that category,’ but I do put him in that category because he was a businessman from New York who left a beautiful life of luxury where everyone loved him to move into this darkness,” Rollins said on The Tudor Dixon Podcast. “And it is dark, you know this, Tudor. I mean, it takes some real conviction to bring light into what is a very dark industry, which is politics, and to always stay focused on the light.”

Rollins also reflected on the turmoil and opposition Trump faced before returning to the White House, including multiple legal battles and two attempts on his life. She said Trump was able to withstand his myriad of opposition because she believed he was “called for this moment.”

TRUMP CAN’T BE BOUGHT, AND BIG TECH IS FINDING OUT THE HARD WAY

The agriculture secretary said that Trump overcoming his opposition in between administrations paved the way for him to form his Cabinet capable of meeting “this moment” as a “true team.”

Earlier this month, Rollins told the Washington Examiner about the Trump administration’s work to increase demand in the United Kingdom for food made in the United States. U.K. officials have maintained that food it imports from other countries, including the U.S., must reach its health standards. Rollins said U.S. messaging to British consumers on the safety of American food products must be improved.
