Britney Spears Slams Reports Of Her Family Planning An Intervention: ‘Makes Me Sick To My Stomach’

Britney Spears responded strongly to Thursday’s reports that her family and friends were planning to intervene for her safety.

This week, TMZ Published a ReportThe source was not named. Pop star’s friends and family had planned an intervention due to concerns about her mental health.

According to the outlet, multiple people with direct knowledge of the situation called Spears’ behavior volatile. They said she’s been “flying off the handle” he was taking medication that he had previously prescribed. “hype her up” While avoiding any other medications that could calm her down.

The story was picked up by multiple outlets, prompting the singer to refute it in an Instagram post on Thursday night.

First, the 41-year old performing artist shared a quote which read: “A state of gratitude will shift you to a higher frequency.” Spears wrote in the Caption, “It makes me sick to my stomach that it’s even legal for people to make up stories that I almost died.”

“I mean at some point enough is enough!!! I’m probably going to have to stop posting on Instagram because even though I enjoy doing it, there’s obviously a lot of people who don’t wish me well!!! I’m honestly not surprised at all … Again doing the best I can!!!,” She went on.

Next, she dealt with the conservatorship. “Again, the conservatorship has been over for almost a year … No folks, it’s not 2007 … it’s 2023 and I’m making my first homemade lasagna at home!!!” Spears wrote. “I finally got my fireplace to work in my living room!!! As my hubby says it best: don’t believe everything you read!!! All that love right back at ya!!!”

The “Toxic” The singer has been subject to constant scrutiny since November 2021 when she ended her 13-year conservatorship. Since that time, Spears has made headlines for her seemingly erratic behavior as well as the provocative videos she’s been posting to social media. 

Spears recently reacted to her fans who called police to check on her after she deleted the Instagram account. “Police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls. I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded,” The singer Shared on Twitter January 26. “The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately.”
